We at John Altman believe in following his example of doing good and making the world a better place for everyone. So why not start with our local community and the city around us?

This is why we have partnered up with De Regenboog Groep to organize social events. In doing so we can brighten someone's day, one snack and one smile at a time. So far we have collaborated with the Filmhallen and the DeLaMar theater under the motto of “Samen uit de eenzamheid!”. Even though there are more than 800,000 people in the city of Amsterdam (not counting the masses of tourists that flood the city on a daily basis) many people still feel lonely. To combat this we have gathered on five occasions to enjoy a movie or play together with great snacks and even better company.

Now we are happy to announce our sixth edition! For ten euros you can buy two tickets: one for yourself and one for a fellow Amsterdammer. Of course there will be snacks, how else does one enjoy a movie? John Altman will provide the moviegoers with some yummy organic popcorn and nuts, as well as a drink. After the movie the fun continues with a borrel, the perfect opportunity to share your thoughts on the movie and get to know new people. By purchasing a ticket you do something good for the world and for yourself!
